"For the Faithful Departed" Released on All Soul's Day

We are honored to announce the extended play release of "For the Faithful Departed" by Lark and Vale, available starting November 2 on All Soul's Day. It is an Early Studio Edition containing unfinished tracks released before most production has been performed.

The album is dedicated to the memory of the founder of Holy Dove Record's mother, Lois Robert, who passed away recently. The music is for all who have lost their loved one. This collection offers the following four tracks:

A Lifetime of Love - An instrumental, contemplative piece inviting reflection on a beloved one's life. A slightly happier version of this song was written by the founder in 2001 for her mother's birthday.

Our Father - A sorrowful version of the well-known Our Father prayer that affirms trust in God in times of grief, and prepares the listener for the next prayers.

Prayer for the Faithful Departed - This traditional prayer for the faithful departed is put to hopeful music for the loved one to enter heaven, where there are no tears, only the fullness of joy in Christ.

Prayer for the Bereaved - This traditional prayer is for those mourning the loss of a loved one, that they have solace, honor their loved one's memory, and one day, be reunited with them in heaven.

This collection offers heartfelt prayers during this meaningful time of remembrance. The album encourages contemplation, faith, hope, and honor, helping to bridge the chasm between our lives and the memories of those who have left us.
